Drama Teacher Needed in Emsworth, Portsmouth

Position Details:

• Location: Emsworth, Portsmouth
• Position: Drama Teacher
• Pay Rate: 162.32 to 223.62 per day, or a generous annual remuneration package for permanent placement
• Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent/Permanent
• Start Date: September 2025
• Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, plus parents’ evenings

Responsibilities:

• Teach drama to students, following the UK curriculum
• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Support students’ educational and personal development
• Work collaboratively with an experienced team
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desired but not mandatory with sufficient prior experience
• Prior teaching experience in the UK
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (within the last year)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional child-related references
