Description
The project management function is essential within White Swan Data to maintain momentum on our projects and maintain a high-level of quality assurance. Our projects are complex, fast-moving and require a high attention to detail.
We are seeking a motivated technical project manager, ideally with 2+ years’ experience, who can take ownership of project oversight and create an framework to ensure tasks are completed to a high-standard.
Given you will be working closely with Software Developers, Mathematicians, and Quants, a good understanding of coding is essential.
We are seeking someone extremely driven, highly organised, and ready to get hands-on in ensuring our projects run smoothly with the greatest impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute project roadmaps that span smaller specific projects and larger cross-functional initiatives, ensuring they stay aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle, managing the allocation of resources, agreeing timescales, and managing risk on both short- and long-term horizons.
- Stakeholder management, working closely with technical professionals and senior management, to foster cooperation and synergy, enabling the prioritisation and timely delivery of projects.
- Manage the daily delivery of business-critical technology infrastructure.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Must have:
- 2+ years working within the Technical Project Management space.
- A highly critical eye for detail with demonstratable experience creating frameworks to reduce oversights and errors in project management.
- A good understanding of coding, enabling you to set realistic deadlines for technical tasks.
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience of project management in a dynamic startup environment.
- Degree in an Engineering discipline or a background in software development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
