Business Development & Sales ExecutionLead commercial responses to RFPs and proposals , collaborating with technical teams.Participate in sales meetings , especially the second call after an SDR’s initial outreach, to qualify prospects and progress them through the sales cycle.Maintain an accurate sales pipeline , providing regular revenue forecasts.Customer Engagement & Relationship ManagementDevelop account plans for strategic customers to expand business opportunities.Act as the face of Apgar in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics , building credibility with clients and prospects.Represent Apgar at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities .Develop and nurture partnerships with technology partners to strengthen Apgar’s local presence.Plan and execute marketing events in collaboration with Apgar’s strategic partners to drive brand awareness.Commercial & Contractual ManagementOversee the creation, negotiation, and management of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to ensure clarity in service delivery.Manage contractual obligations and mitigate risks related to client agreements.Define commercial models that align with client needs while maintaining profitability .Work closely with the central SDR team to refine lead qualification and outreach.Collaborate with Apgar’s marketing team to tailor campaigns for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, and ensure an appropriate and locally-focused digital presence (including website and LinkedIn).Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to delivery teams , ensuring customer success.Provide sales forecasts and performance reports to the leadership team.
5+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Advisory, or BI.~ Technical background (preferred) to better engage with prospects on complex data topics.~ Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals in enterprise software or consulting.~ Experience in responding to RFPs and commercial proposals .~ Strong understanding of data management solutions and their business impact.~ Preferably experience in Services companies , though not mandatory.~ Familiarity with selling into SAP, TIBCO, Semarchy, Informatica, or similar data solutions is a plus.~ Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with global teams.
