Senior Legal Counsel – Offshore – Renewables

The Role: This position focuses on execution matters, including:
- Providing legal support in commercial and contractual matters.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop contracting strategies and mitigate risks.
- Reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements.
- Advising on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Managing disputes and providing contractual interpretations.
- Engaging with key stakeholders across various business functions.
- Enhancing legal processes and providing internal training.
The Person: The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- 6+ years of legal experience in commercial or construction contracting within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong expertise in EPC FIDIC based contracts for offshore construction.
- Familiarity with project planning and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to advise senior stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented approach and a proven track record in delivering high-quality results.
- The ability to provide effective solutions to complex project issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Career growth to Head of Legal in 2 years.
