About the Role:

Are you passionate about fostering connections and driving engagement within your community? Our high-profile Energy client is seeking an enthusiastic Engagement Coordinator to help establish and coordinate energy planning initiatives in your region. As part of a pioneering effort, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication and collaboration among local stakeholders, as well as with regional and central teams.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the engagement strategy for your region while working alongside a dedicated regional manager. You will be among the first to lay the groundwork for a thriving regional presence, with the support of our expanding teams in 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement within your region and with colleagues, including those in the central hub and other regional teams.
  • Capture regional stakeholder insights in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring compliance with data management protocols.
  • Maintain an up-to-date engagement and communication plan for your region.
  • Facilitate workshops and engagement activities with the Regional Strategic Board and other stakeholders to advance the Regional Energy Strategy Plan (RESP).
  • organise and deliver effective online and in-person meetings, workshops, and events, utilising tools such as Mail Merge, Menti, Miro boards, Mail Chimp, and Teams webinars.
  • Ensure alignment of engagement planning and delivery with other regional and central RESP teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with a proactive and flexible approach to engaging others.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management tools and databases to track activities and derive insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Experience with a wide range of digital tools and techniques, including the Microsoft Office suite, to successfully deliver events and workshops.
  • Proven coordination and planning skills to ensure deadlines are met and governance is upheld, resulting in high-quality outputs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience working within large, complex organisations, ideally in the energy or local government sectors, and within your region.
  • An inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new areas of work.
