Company Overview:

Our Client is a leading provider of commercial cleaning services in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality and customised cleaning solutions to our clients. As their business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Area Cleaning Manager to join their team.

Position overview:

The area manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple cleaning contracts within the assigned area. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage a team of cleaners, maintain excellent relationships, and ensure all cleaning services are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise a team of cleaners, providing guidance, training and support as needed.

· Develop cleaning protocols and ensure all team members adhere to them to maintain consistency and quality.

· Monitor team and performance and conduct regular site audits to ensure all cleaning services meet the company’s standards.

· Assign duties and schedules to team members, ensuring optimal coverage and timely completion of tasks.

· Maintain communication with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and address any issues and concerns promptly.

· Conduct regular inventory checks and order necessary cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.

· Prepare and maintain accurate reports on cleaning activities, budget and team performance.

· Continuously seek opportunities to improve cleaning process and efficiency.

Experience:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in the cleaning industry.

· In depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

· Proficiency in using computer systems and software (e.g Microsoft office, scheduling software)

· Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
