Position Overview
As an Antitrust Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team handling UK/EU and other non-U.S. antitrust, cartel and merger control matters. You will have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility, conduct your own advocacy where possible and gain valuable exposure to cross-border work as part of a team operating across five European offices.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex UK/EU antitrust and competition cases, with a focus on CMA filings and cross-border matters
- Demonstrate initiative and take on a high degree of responsibility in case management
- Produce excellent written communication and drafting for various legal documents and submissions
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to deliver seamless client service
- Contribute to the development and growth of the Competition practice through thought leadership and client engagement
Requirements
- 1-4 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm
- Qualified to practice law in England & Wales
- Strong experience in handling CMA filings and other high-end, complex antitrust matters with cross-border features
- Outstanding academic credentials and a keen interest in competition law
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
