Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Negotiation & Management: Take charge of supplier negotiations, ensuring the best trading terms and continuous product availability. Use your experience to review suppliers and introduce new sources to meet category needs.
- Category Ownership: Deliver and maintain a distinct point of difference across your category, ensuring the products are in line with customer demand and business goals.
- Documentation & Administration: Oversee all admin and documentation related to suppliers, product sourcing, and negotiations to maintain smooth operations.
- Autonomy & Leadership: Enjoy the freedom to manage your category with a high level of autonomy, making decisions that impact the business directly, similar to owning your own business.
- Food Retail Experience: If you have experience working in food retail, especially within a complex, dynamic food environment, your knowledge will be key in ensuring supply continuity and driving category success.
Experience:Experience working across food retail.Strong experience in supplier management, product sourcing, and negotiating trading terms.Ability to maintain product availability while delivering a unique category offering to the market.A background in navigating a constantly changing and fast-paced retail food environment.
